Description

A classic American BBQ dish, these pork ribs are slow-cooked to perfection with a sweet and tangy sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup paprika
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 racks pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup wood chips

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C)
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper
  3. Step 3: Apply the spice mixture evenly to both racks of ribs, making sure to coat all surfaces
  4. Step 4: Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down
  5. Step 5: Cover the ribs with another sheet of aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours
  6. Step 6: After 2 hours, remove the foil and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce
  7. Step 7: Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized
  8. Step 8: Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before cutting into individual portions
