Description

Pan-seared steak served with scrambled eggs and toasted bread

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1.5 lbs Ribeye steak
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 slices bread

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Step 3: Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the skillet and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Step 4: Transfer the steak to a plate and let it rest.
  5. Step 5: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp of butter and scramble the eggs until cooked through.
  6. Step 6: Toast the bread slices.
  7. Step 7: Slice the steak against the grain.
  8. Step 8: Serve the steak with scrambled eggs and toasted bread.
