Description
Pan-seared steak served with scrambled eggs and toasted bread
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1.5 lbs Ribeye steak
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 slices bread
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the skillet and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Step 4: Transfer the steak to a plate and let it rest.
- Step 5: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp of butter and scramble the eggs until cooked through.
- Step 6: Toast the bread slices.
- Step 7: Slice the steak against the grain.
- Step 8: Serve the steak with scrambled eggs and toasted bread.
