Ingredients

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Add cold butter and use a pastry blender or fingers to work into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Step 3: Gradually add ice-cold water, stirring with a fork until dough comes together in a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Step 4: On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Transfer to a 9-inch pie dish and trim edges to fit.
  5. Step 5: In a separate bowl, whisk together blueberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Pour into pie crust.
