Description
Tender and flavorful beef jerky marinated in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef top round
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 160°F (70°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Step 3: Add the sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Remove the beef from the marinade and place the strips on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Step 5: Dry the beef in the oven for 3-4 hours, or until it reaches your desired level of dryness.
