Description
A savory and sweet Asian-inspired wrap filled with grilled chicken, crunchy vegetables, and creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 cup lettuce
- 0.25 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup carrots
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.25 cup green onions
- 1 cup cucumber
- 1 tsp ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 0.25 cup pickled ginger
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- 0.25 cup sesame seeds
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Step 3: Brush the mixture on both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Step 4: Grill the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through.
- Step 5: Slice the chicken into thin strips.
- Step 6: Heat the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
- Step 7: Assemble the wraps by spreading a tablespoon of teriyaki sauce on each tortilla, followed by a few slices of chicken, some shredded lettuce, sliced cucumber, carrots, green onions, pickled ginger, and sesame seeds.
