Description

Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 cup pineapple rings
- 4 leaves lettuce
- 2 tbsp ginger
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp garlic
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 hamburger buns
- 8 oz ground beef
- 0.25 cup (60ml) pineapple juice
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Step 2: In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, grated ginger, and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Step 3: Form beef patties and season with black pepper. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness.
- Step 4: Meanwhile, cook bacon slices until crispy and set aside.
- Step 5: Grill pineapple rings for 2-3 minutes per side or until caramelized.
- Step 6: Assemble burgers by spreading teriyaki sauce on the bottom bun, followed by a beef patty, a few slices of bacon, a pineapple ring, a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and finally the top bun.
