Description
Spicy and aromatic chicken wings infused with the bold flavors of Thailand
Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 cup fish sauce
- 0.25 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons cilantro
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.25 cup palm sugar
- 0.25 cup Thai chilies
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 0.25 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon Thai red curry paste
- 0.25 cup water
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a blender or food processor, combine fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger, curry paste, palm sugar, and water. Blend until smooth.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, whisk together the blended sauce and vegetable oil.
- Step 4: Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Step 5: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the wings on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Step 6: Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Step 7: While the wings are baking, mix the chopped cilantro, Thai chilies, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Step 8: After the wings have baked for 30 minutes, remove from the oven and toss with the cilantro-chili mixture.
- Step 9: Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes or until crispy.
