Description
A decadent pizza featuring caramelized mushrooms, truffle oil, and gooey mozzarella cheese
Ingredients
- 2 tsp yeast
- 1.5 cups flour
- 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup mushrooms
- 1 tsp truffle oil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
- 0.5 cups water
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Step 3: Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
- Step 4: Knead the dough for 5 minutes and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Step 5: Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch (6 mm).
- Step 6: In a pan, caramelize the mushrooms with garlic over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Step 7: Spread the mushroom mixture over the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch (1 cm) border.
- Step 8: Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, thyme, and truffle oil.
- Step 9: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
