Description

A twist on the classic BLT, with sliced turkey and avocado added to the mix

Ingredients

  • 2 large lettuce leaves
  • 2 avocados
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 4 oz turkey breast
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 medium tomato
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat a pan or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Step 2: Cook the bacon slices until crispy, then set aside.
  3. Step 3: Toast the bread slices until lightly browned.
  4. Step 4: Spread mayonnaise on two slices of toasted bread, and Dijon mustard on the other two.
  5. Step 5: Assemble the sandwiches by placing a slice of turkey, a few slices of bacon, a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and an avocado slice on each bread slice with mayonnaise.
  6. Step 6: Top with the remaining bread slices.
