Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup bell peppers
  • 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat
  2. Step 2: Add the diced onion and minced garlic and stir-fry until the onion is translucent
  3. Step 3: Add the mixed frozen vegetables and diced bell peppers, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes
  4. Step 4: Add the cooked rice to the skillet or wok, breaking up any clumps with a spatula
  5. Step 5: Stir-fry the rice with the vegetables for 2-3 minutes, until everything is well combined
  6. Step 6: Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil, and stir-fry for another minute
  7. Step 7: Season the rice with salt and pepper to taste
  8. Step 8: Transfer the vegetable fried rice to a serving platter, and garnish with chopped green onions
