Fall-off-the-bone tender pork ribs smothered in a rich whiskey glaze
Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 racks pork ribs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup whiskey
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together whiskey, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Step 3: Add the ribs to the bowl and coat evenly with the glaze.
- Step 4: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the ribs on the baking sheet.
- Step 5: Bake for 2 hours, or until the ribs are tender and caramelized.
- Step 6: Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before cutting into individual portions.
